Dr. Amir Brudner
Dr. Amir Brudner is an Assistant Professor of Operations Research at the Hebrew University Business School. His research focuses on transportation systems, with an emphasis on pricing, resource allocation, and strategic behavior under congestion. He uses game theory, queueing models, and data-driven approaches to evaluate and design public policies in urban mobility. His work spans theoretical modeling as well as computational and empirical analysis. He has received several honors, including the Hans Wiener Prize for outstanding doctoral research, and research support from institutions such as the MIT Portugal Program (MPP) and the Israeli Smart Transportation Research Center (ISTRC).
Dr. Brudner was a postdoctoral fellow in the Operations Management and Statistics group at the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. He is also a Research Affiliate at the Intelligent Transportation Systems Lab at MIT, where he previously held a postdoctoral appointment. In addition to academic research, Dr. Brudner regularly prepares and presents policy papers to municipal and national bodies in Israel, advising on transportation issues such as residential parking policy and urban accessibility.
