Post-Doctoral Scholarship Program:

Tashfa (2024-2025):
The Council for Higher Education is launching a new cycle of the Post-Doctoral Scholarship Program in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. This scholarship is open to outstanding post-doctoral students who have been accepted or will be accepted for a post-doctorate starting in the academic year 2015.

Program Details:

- Eligibility: Applicants must have received their doctoral degree no more than five years before September 1, 2024.
- Scholarship Duration: $60,000 US/year for two years.
- Continuation: Approval for the second-year scholarship is contingent upon Ministry of Education and Culture approval based on the recipient's research progress report in the first year.
- Application Process: Candidates are not required to have secured a study placement abroad before applying but must provide proof of acceptance from the host institution and additional funding sources upon winning the scholarship.
- Deadline: Applications must be submitted by the deadline set by the respective faculty/school, which may differ from the deadline stated in the attached document.

Important Notes:

  •  Recommendation letters should be on the academic institution's letterhead, signed by the recommender, and limited to two pages, as outlined in section 3.5 of the attached regulations.
  •  Candidate files should be compiled into a single PDF, starting with the attached form and including all required documents listed on page 3 of the attached file, excluding those relevant for submission on behalf of the university.
  •  Deadline for submitting candidate files: Thursday, May 16, 2024.
