Prof. Yoram Peles z”l

Prof. Yoram Peles was born in 1934. He earned a diploma in economics and statistics from Hebrew University, and a doctorate from University of Chicago. In 1973, he was appointed Senior Lecturer at Hebrew University, and in 1992 promoted to Full Professor.

Prof. Peles was among the founders of the Accounting Department of the School of Business Administration, and from 1980-1982, served as head of the School. Prof. Peles was a brilliant economist and published many articles together with leading economists. He died at age 84.
