Dr. Avital Baikovich is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Organizational Behavior at the School of Business Administration. Her research is situated within the field of Critical Management Studies and examines power relations in organizations, control and resistance, organizaitonal culture, and identity construction in cross-cultural work contexts.
Dr. Baikovich earned her PhD from the Department of Labor Studies at Tel Aviv University, and holds both BA and MA degrees in Sociology and Anthropology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
She is the recipient of numerous grants and awards, including the Golda Meir Fellowship, the Ministry of Science Scholarship for Academy-Industry Collaboration, and the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship for doctoral studies. Her work has been published in leading journals such as Organization Science, Organization Studies, Gender, Work & Organization, and Organizational Research Methods.
